Family-based Immigration
Family-based immigration is a cornerstone of the U.S. immigration system, allowing

Waiver Applications
There are a wide range of reasons Immigration and Citizenship Services may require a pardon, or waiver, application before it will approve your case. Ms. Rodriguez will analyze the facts of your particular case, recommend supporting documentation for you to gather, and prepare the appropriate waiver application based on the facts of your case the the applicable law.
U Visa
Congress has provided for a path to permanent residency if you have been the victim of crime in the U.S. and have helped the government investigate the crime. As with any process with Immigration and Citizenship Services, there are specific factors to determine if you are eligible and various steps before you can file. Ms. Rodriguez will work with local police departments, the State’s Attorney’s office, and state agencies to get the paperwork needed to proceed with the U visa petition.
Special Immigrant
Juvenile Cases
There are special provisions in the Immigration and Nationality Act to help children and young adults (up to 21 years
of age) who are in the U.S. and have been abused, neglected or abandoned by at least one parent. The processes involve the state probate court and consecutive filings with Immigration and Citizenship Services. Ms. Rodriguez will prepare all forms and documents, represent you before the state court and the Immigration Service.
Naturalization
Naturalization is the last and most important step in your immigration path. When you are ready to become a citizen, Ms. Rodriguez will offer comprehensive support for the naturalization process, including preparing the application, getting you ready for the interview, and accompanying you to the interview.

Attorney Jennifer Strait Rodriguez has been serving immigrants since 2001. Fluent in Spanish, she offers services for cases involving Immigration and Nationality Law. Focusing on those areas of law most likely to affect individuals like you, Ms. Rodriguez has built a strong reputation for protecting the rights of her clients ethically and competently.
